Your sourcing platform runs the event. We make the integrity provable.

Sealed bidding already exists as access control and audit logs. For high-stakes RFx, that is not enough. We add an optional Verified Tendering mode: suppliers submit as normal, commercial contents stay cryptographically sealed until authorised opening, and every material step is independently verifiable afterwards.

What we prove

On a Verified Tendering event, stakeholders can verify without seeing confidential bid values that:

  1. Rules were fixed before protected bidding (tender-manifest commitment).
  2. Bids were sealed on the supplier side before buyer-accessible storage.
  3. No late bid was admitted, and the operative pre-deadline bid is deterministic.
  4. Opening was authorised. Designed so no single officer or operator can unilaterally open early.
  5. The evaluated payloads match the committed submissions; the published outcome corresponds to that set.

Lemma is not a sourcing platform. We do not replace SAP Ariba, Coupa, Keelvar, Fairmarkit, or peers. We sit underneath the event they already run.

The property that access control cannot give you

Traditional e-procurement protects bids with roles, encryption at rest, and audit trails. The operator still controls the infrastructure. A Lemma-enabled path instead binds:

Supplier → sealed bid + commitment → platform → policy-governed evaluation → cryptographic proof → award

Participation and validation metadata stay visible to the buyer so the event remains operable. Only commercial contents are sealed until the opening condition is met.

Tender Integrity Certificate

The tangible output is a compact, independently verifiable certificate: tender identity, close time, submission count, and checkmarks for manifest commitment, deadline enforcement, sealed custody, revision integrity, opening policy, and evaluated-payload binding plus a Tender Integrity Root. No losing prices. No confidential attachments. No unauthorised bidder identities.

Consumers: procurement governance, audit, legal, contracting authorities, oversight bodies, and in a challenge unsuccessful bidders entitled to process integrity, not to competitors’ commercial data.

Cryptography evidences integrity properties (for example the confidentiality and examination-after-deadline expectations in EU public-procurement electronic-submission rules). It does not by itself discharge statutory duty. The sourcing platform keeps evaluation, optimisation, and award.
